Our Journey Ends: A Class Tribute to Braeburn International School Arusha

3rd May 2024

As we stand on the cusp of graduation, we, the Class of 2024, collectively reflect on our time at Braeburn International School Arusha with immense gratitude and fondness. Each of us holds a unique story, yet together, we share a bond forged through shared experiences, challenges overcome, and memories cherished

Our leavers’ assembly was a poignant yet jubilant celebration of this journey. It encapsulated the essence of our time here, filled with humour, warmth, and the kind of spirited camaraderie that only school friends can share. One of the highlights was undoubtedly the distribution of funny personalised certificates, a tradition that captures the unique character and exploits of each student.

Imagine the laughter that erupted when three of our graduating seniors were given the award for “The Real Housewives of BISA”. These certificates, playful yet affectionate, mirrored our shared experiences and the quirks that make each of us special. It was a delightful reminder of the unique bonds we’ve formed, grounded in countless shared memories from the classroom to the sports fields.

Another memorable moment was the “Guess Who?” game with our baby pictures. The challenge of matching baby faces to my now grown-up classmates was hilariously entertaining, with more than a few surprises and a whole lot of mistaken identities. This game, simple yet profoundly heartwarming, was a throwback to how far we have come and how much we have all changed.

Beyond the laughter and light moments, the assembly was a time for heartfelt thanks. We expressed our gratitude to the faculty and staff, whose dedication and passion for teaching have not only educated us but inspired us. Each teacher at Braeburn has left an indelible mark on our lives, guiding us through challenges and celebrating our achievements with us. Their commitment has been a testament to the school’s ethos of nurturing individual potential and fostering a spirit of inquiry and resilience.

As we prepare to say goodbye, we are filled with gratitude for these formative years. To our teachers and mentors: thank you for your guidance and unwavering support. To the administrative staff: thank you for making everything possible behind the scenes. And to our juniors: cherish every moment at Braeburn, for it passes all too quickly.

To Braeburn International School Arusha, we extend our heartfelt thanks for giving us a foundation of memories and learning that will support us for a lifetime. We are proud to be Braeburn graduates, and as we step forward into our futures, we carry forward the values and knowledge you have instilled in us. Here’s to the past incredible years and to all the adventures that lie ahead. Thank you, Braeburn, for everything!
