Medals, Teamwork, and Tons of Fun: Primary Athletics Warm-Up
What a fantastic day of sport! Our Primary track and field athletes brought amazing energy, brilliant sportsmanship, and some serious speed to the recent Kennedy House Athletics Warm-Up. It was wonderful to see all their hard work in practice pay off on the track.
Our students absolutely flew out of the starting blocks. A massive shoutout to Arlo, Salim, Liam, Crew, Seth, and Tristan, who led the charge by securing multiple gold medals each. They were joined at the top of the podium by Lalune, Esanju, Eliana, Zephaniah, Amara, and Frasier, who all put in fantastic gold-winning performances of their own.
The medal haul didn’t stop there. High-fives to Seth, Deborah, Elsie, Gracious, Sebastian, and Gaeun for their brilliant medal wins against some tough competition. A special mention also goes to Giovanna, who dug deep and showed real endurance to capture an individual Silver in the 800m – a notoriously tough race!
When it came to the relays, it was all about teamwork, and our Primary squads did not disappoint. Our U11 Girls team (Rugia, Vanessa, Malkia, and Giovanna) ran a brilliant race with super-smooth changeovers to take Silver. Meanwhile, our U11 Boys (Oliver, Nicolas, Philipp, and Liam) pushed hard all the way to the finish line to bring home a well-deserved Bronze.
We are incredibly proud of every single Primary athlete who took part. Whether you took home a medal or just cheered your heart out for your teammates, your school spirit was outstanding. A big thank you to our coaching staff and to all the parents who kept the energy high from the sidelines.
Bring on the rest of the athletics season!
