Ebony Takes Double Victory at Inter-House Athletics!

What a fantastic day of sport at BISA! This yearโ€™s Inter-House Athletics was a particularly special event, marking the very first time our three houses – Ebony โค๏ธ, Baobab ๐Ÿ’š, and Acacia ๐Ÿ’› – competed against each other on the track and field.

Our Primary students kicked things off in the morning, bringing wonderful energy and excitement to their track and field events. In the afternoon, the Secondary students took over, keeping the momentum going with some fiercely contested races and jumps. From the high jump and throwing events to the 100m sprints and longer distance runs, students across all age groups gave their absolute all. What stood out most was the determination on display – whether pushing for a personal best or stepping in to run a relay at the last minute, every single student stepped up for their house.

The sports field was full of colour and noise throughout the day. It was brilliant to see students cheering just as loudly for their housemates as they did for friends in competing houses – that spirit of friendly competition and support was clear from the very first morning event to the final afternoon track races.

Competition was tight across the board, but a huge congratulations goes to Ebony House for securing the top spot in both the Primary and Secondary divisions! Baobab and Acacia kept the pressure on all day, keeping the points tally close in both the morning and afternoon sessions.

A big thank you to all the parents, guardians, and family members who came along to watch. Having so many supporters lined up along the track for both sessions made a huge difference to the athletes and created a wonderful atmosphere.

Finally, thank you to our PE department, staff, and student helpers who worked hard behind the scenes to keep a full day of events running smoothly. Well done to every student who took part – you did your houses proud!
