Sixth Form

Braeburn Arusha offers an enriching and comprehensive educational experience for students aged 16 to 18 years. In the Sixth Form, Years 12 and 13, alternative paths to university are offered to ensure that all students find a Sixth Form challenge suited to their strengths.

Sixth Form students can opt for the academic A-Level curriculum that develops specialisation in areas of strength related to future careers or the vocational BTEC programme that focuses on qualifications that combine technical and theoretical knowledge with practical skills.

Recognising that every student has unique requirements, we can create individualised study programmes that may combine A-Levels and BTEC components to meet these needs.

Our Learning Environment

In addition to the specialist resources provided to all the students in the Secondary School, our Sixth Form seniors also have specific study areas and a common room where they can spend time together.

Academic Results

The academic achievements of the Braeburn International School Arusha Class of 2025 are a testament to their dedication and hard work.

Our Sixth Form students performed exceptionally well, with 75% of our A-Level students achieving A*-C grades, of which 13% attained A* or A grades. Within the BTEC cohort, there was a 100% pass rate, with 93% receiving Distinction*-Merit (A*-C) of which 79% were Distinction*/Distinction (A*/A). We are incredibly proud of these results and what they represent for our students’ futures.

Curriculum Overviews

Students may study an A-Level programme of 3 or 4 subjects, or a mixture of A-Levels and BTEC Sport, which is offered as a Diploma equivalent to one A-Level in UCAS points.
