Nature School at BISA

Did you know BISA has the only dedicated Nature School site in all of Tanzania? Set on over 2 acres of beautiful savannah land next to the main Kisongo campus, our students have access to this incredible resource throughout the year. As the seasons change, the landscape of the Nature School site changes, allowing our students the unique opportunity to interact with and observe nature in all seasons. Becoming good stewards of our planet is a central part of our Global Citizenship and Intercultural Learning rainbow and care for our Nature School site is an essential aspect of this.

Our EYFS and Primary teachers are Forest School Leader certified and, with a campground, fire pit, climbing ropes, and amazing local trees perfect for den-building, our students can now connect with nature like never before!

Book a school visit and ask to see the Nature School site.

Don't miss our regular Nature School family events over the year too!
