A Very Special French Competition

22nd March 2017

The BISA French Department have much to be proud of following a very special French competition at Alliance Francais.

Why was is so special? Madam Mella tell us why...

From the motivation and the heart that Year 1 and 2 put into their song to the challenge for Year 5 to create their own song and to interpret such a long French song; from the team work put in by Year 9 in preparation for the day using Victor and Alistair’s IT skills to Arav, Waitta and Angel’s design skills, from Musa, Sasha and Parleen music skills to Wilbert, Gabby and Joshua’'s speaking skills and John’s creativity for text and props;  From the bonding together of our students with Year 9 being great leaders for the younger ones and Primary students sharing time with students from other schools, we have much to be proud of!

The final results of the competition?

  • 1st place for Year 1 and 2 in under 8
  • 1st place for Year 5 in under 12
  • 1st place for Year 9 in secondary category

As a result, BISA will be represented in all 3 categories for the finale against winners in Dar-es-Salaam.

Well done to all who took part!
