The Raucous Rainforest

Year 4 has been delving deep into the Rainforest.

It has been a busy start of the year filled with classifying rainforest animals, sketching detailed pictures of insects, and locating Rainforests around the world. Year 4 will be sure to impress you with their knowledge about the different layers of the rainforest - just ask them!

To bring their scientific research on invertebrates to life they visited local Artist, Dom Lever https://www.domleverphotos.com/ at his studio/showroom within the lovely Blue Heron Gardens The Blue Heron. He regaled them with tales of discovering new insects and inspired with his magnificent artwork. Year 4 has now all decided that they will become entomologists!

To top it all off we drove home the importance of conservation with our stellar performance of The Great Kapok Tree performed under the shade of our beautiful trees in our very own Nature School. Our Responsible Citizens shared their crucial message of the importance of being stewards of our beautiful planet. Through our school-wide approach to Global Citizenship and Intercultural Learning, we are raising the next generation of eco-warriors and we are so proud of them.
