Another Successful Sporting Weekend for BISA students!

It was yet again another busy weekend of sporting competition for our students!
The under 9 and under 11 teams travelled to St Constantine on Saturday for the NTSAA hockey tournament. Both teams topped their group stage matches and in addition, did not concede to any team, sending them to the finals against the host school, St. Constantine.
The finals ended in a goalless draw and the winner had to be decided through a 20-second penalty shootout. The U11 team was ousted in the finals, finishing second after a fiercest battle to clinch the title.
The U9 team pitched against the host SCIS, carried the day after a tie in the first round of the shootout. Indeed their hard work paid off as we watched in awe, our young team of six against seven in number throughout the tournament outclass their opponent in a sudden death penalty shootout in yet another highly contested game. Meanwhile, the U13 mixed netball team placed fourth out of 6 schools. It was a tight competition and the players gave it their best. Well done, U13 team.
The basketballers had a massive week! They have been playing non-stop and winning all their matches. Mbatian Sikar won MVP at the Pamoja Basketball, Rhennystella won the three-point shooting competition and Ethan won the free throw competition. From St Judes to the Pamoja Basketball D-League, BISA Basketball players have made us all proud showing outstanding performance and winning the D-League with a win of 85-80!
