BISA awarded multiple accolades in the BTEC Awards 2022

The BTEC International Institution of the Year 2022 Silver Award went to BISA! And we did not stop at that - we got THREE more!
It’s yet another year of celebrating winners of the prestigious and global awards, by the education company Pearson, which are in their 12th year!
BISA’s students’ and staff’s hard work and dedication wowed the judges, who felt they were left with no choice but to recognise them. There were over twenty categories, including Health and Social Care, Engineering, Music, Sports and Creative Media, with each winner selected from thousands – and often tens of thousands – of eligible entries!
This year we won:
- Bronze Award: Lee Filikunjombe - BTEC Music Learner of the Year 2022!
- Silver Award: Sherlyne Mawalla - BTEC Business and Entreprise and Learner of the Year 2022!
- Gold Award: Ms Noela Gichuru - BTEC Teacher of the Year 2022!
- Braeburn International School Arusha - The BTEC International Institution of the Year 2022!
Pearson has overseen BTEC qualifications for over 30 years and is recognised in over 60 countries. Employers know that a BTEC qualification will mean candidates are work-ready and have the knowledge, skills and behaviours to contribute from day one in the workplace.
