BISA Film and Media Awards 2025

Braeburn Arusha boasts a very successful Creative Media course that prepares all students for film schools and a place in the fast-growing film industry in addition to a wonderful invigorating Film Club for KS3s and KS4s. This year we were honoured to host the premiere ‘BISA Film and Media Awards’ to celebrate their work and accomplishments over the last two years. Among the audience were industry professionals who watched all the films and later went to interview the students for potential internships. We showcased 9 films with the audience gaining the opportunity to vote for their favourite, congratulations to Bright for winning the crowd over!
The night was a success! Catered by Joyous Popcorn our students got to divulge in an array of sweets and snacks while taking in the incredible films. Our sponsors from Digital Capture provided us with a massive LCD screen to get the best quality possible, while the BrandHub provided us with a wonderful backdrop to take photos in front of. Our top 5 films and their producers will join us in Dar Es Salaam for a smaller rendition of this event that will celebrate this incredible feat.
