BISA hosts annual NTSAA Inter-schools Cross Country

On the exhilarating day of May 11th, 2024, the grounds reverberated with energy as schools from across the region gathered for the highly anticipated Inter-school Cross Country event. Excitement filled the air as students, coaches, and supporters alike eagerly awaited the start of the competition. With each school bringing its best athletes to the forefront, the atmosphere was charged with anticipation and determination.

The Inter-school Cross Country proved to be a true test of endurance and skill, with participants facing challenging terrain and unforgiving courses. From steep hills to winding trails, every step presented a new obstacle to overcome. Yet, amidst the difficulty, the spirit of sportsmanship prevailed, as competitors pushed themselves to their limits while cheering on their fellow runners.

In a display of remarkable talent and determination, the winners of each age category emerged victorious. St Constantine’s showcased their dominance, claiming victory in the U7 and U9 categories, while Braeburn International School of Arusha took the top spot in the U11 division. Orkeswa emerged as a force to be reckoned with, securing victories in the U13, U16, and U19 categories. In a thrilling conclusion, St Constantine’s clinched the title of Overall Winner, cementing their place as champions of the Inter-school Cross Country 2024. The event not only celebrated athleticism but also fostered a sense of unity among the participating schools, leaving a lasting impression on all who took part.
