28th September 2017
On Saturday 16 September 2017, Braeburn Arusha became the official IELTS test centre in Arusha. In partnership with British Council, Tanzania, the test was administered at the new Braeburn Infant School in Njiro.
So what is IELTS and why is it important to Braeburn students?
IELTS stands for English language testing system (IELTS) and many of our secondary students are required to write this examination as an entry requirement for university. The test consists of four main parts: listening, reading writing and speaking are all awarded a band score, ranging from (0-9). Tto help prepare students to take this rigorous exam, students are offered an IELTS preparation course twice a week.
The next IELTS session will run on Saturday, 11th of November 2017.
