BISA Secondary Dazzle on the Athletics Field

16th November 2019

After a joyous event for the primary schools, the following day was set for the secondary athletics. Students, teachers and parents were all eager to see our BISA children do their best and even break records (which we did!!) This is one of Ms Rogers' most favourite events of the year and she is always there to support our brilliant teams.

Seven schools brought in their talented sportsmen and women to compete to become the overall athletics champions. It was very competitive and all the student from all schools outdid themselves, they truly made us as a school proud!

Sadly one of our most talented sportman, Clinton Mutuku, succumbed to an injury in a football game the week before so we were not able to see his extraordinary skills on the track for 1500m and the relay! Hopefully we will get to see him on the track again, breaking yet another record. Get well soon Clinton.

The students really gave it their best and shocked most of the people who attended the event. Overall we came second, Orkeswa coming in 1st. BISA came home with the overall U11 trophy.

Cornelia Bulengo won the Best Overall Female Athlete in Arusha!
