Last week we celebrated the student’s achievement and progress in their academic studies. Students from Year 7, 8, 10 and 12 were awarded certificates and prizes for the highest achievement and for most progress made throughout the year. Some students received multiple certificates for all their hard work.
We also recognised the Most Valuable Players (MVPs) in different sports, from basketball to swimming.
During the event we were entertained by Elsie, Tobiko, and Shannon Cox who performed their monologues for their NEA exams, a duologue from Jasper and Nathaniel, an amazing treat from Kirstien, who sang, Noor, who played the piano beautifully; and finally, a performance of the BTEC Band!
Year 9, 11 and 13 receive their awards during their graduations.
The Year 9 graduation night event was a testament to the impressive achievements of these young individuals, who have shown incredible resilience and dedication throughout their KS3 journey. From academic excellence to outstanding contributions to the school community, the graduation honoured a wide range of accomplishments. It was inspiring to see the students' families, friends, and teachers come together to celebrate their achievements. This reminded us all of the importance of hard work, determination, and perseverance, and how these qualities can lead to success in all aspects of life.
Congratulations to the Year 9 students on their achievements, and we can't wait to see what the future holds for them as they move on to KS4 with the subject options they have chosen.
