Circus Fun: Our Teaching Team's High-Flying Start to the Year

What better way to kick off the school year than by joining the circus? That's exactly what our amazing BISA teaching team did, thanks to the fantastic crew at Mambo Jambo Sarakasi! We traded our lesson plans for juggling balls and our whiteboards for tightropes in a fun-filled Circus Skills workshop designed to get us moving, laughing, and working together.
Our goal for this unique team-building event was simple: start the year with a boost of energy, collaboration, and bonding. And Mambo Jambo Sarakasi delivered! From the moment we stepped into the space, we were challenged to step outside our comfort zones and embrace new skills. We learned to build human pyramids, balance on a rola bola, and even master the art of tightrope walking. It was a day filled with belly laughs and encouraging cheers as we supported one another through every wobble and dropped ball.
The workshop was a perfect reminder that great teamwork isn't just about problem-solving—it's about building trust and celebrating each other's successes, no matter how small. We left with tired muscles, big smiles, and a renewed sense of camaraderie. This exhilarating day truly set the tone for a year of fun, collaboration, and learning. We're ready to bring that same playful and supportive energy into our classrooms for the benefit of our students.
