Community Spirit

Last week, our Primary Student Council were counting up their cash after their hugely successful Pyjama Day and Bake Sale. Put in place in collaboration with Year 5 as part of the Silver Community Project for their Junior Dragon, the purpose was to raise money for the Bandari Project in Mto wa Mbu https://thebandariproject.com/tanzania/. 

The project have reached out... listen carefully as this is truly complicated and fully global... via some new friends of ours in Italy who are linked with a teacher who moved from here to set up her own school in Thailand who are also supporting initiatives in Tanzania as well as other parts of the world. 

Thanks to lots of hard work and generosity across both sites, we have raised so far 558,000/-. We hope to add more to this total with another fundraiser before the end of term.
