Culture Day at BISA

17th November 2021

“Cultural differences should not separate us from each other, but rather cultural diversity brings a collective strength that can benefit all of humanity” - Robert Alan.

At BISA we are thankful for the diverse, beautiful cultures that make up our BISA family. We learn from each other continuously and, last Monday, we took the time to celebrate the many cultures represented within our community with Culture Day.

From Sudan to Scotland, India to Israel we found out about life in communities outside of Arusha and celebrated the global village that is Planet Earth.

Students and staff were invited to wear clothes that represented their culture and to bring in food or snacks from their culture to share with their class and to sell as part of our ongoing fundraising for Mr Mabaga's surgery. It was wonderful to see all the cultures represented and to celebrate the diversity of our community.
