Exploring Space

Year 5's have been exploring Space as their theme this half term.
Historically, they researched about the space explorers and made comprehensive powerpoints elaborating the space timeline.
Scientifically, they explored how the Solar System works and enjoyed navigating around the 3D online model of the solar system and the night sky using the solar system scope.
In Literacy, Year 5's had a heated debate on the motion: "Is exploring space really important?" They did their research and shared their points via Zoom , supporting their side of the debate with valid facts.
Artistically, they each made a beautiful orrery and 3D forms of the Solar system.
