Exploring the Wonders of Plant Life with FS1

This term, our learning journey will immerse us in the captivating realm of nature, delving into the theme of "Growing Plants." Together, we will uncover the magic of life, exploring the key features of a plant's life cycle. From the moment seeds sprout to the beautiful, vibrant blooms that grace us later on, our young learners will have the opportunity to nurture their curiosity and develop a deep appreciation for the wonders of nature.

In our exciting first week, we enjoyed on a nature walk to our sensory garden. The FS1s displayed keen interest, eagerly engaging their senses by touching, smelling, and even tasting a variety of herbs. To extend our exploration, we planted rosemary in paper cups, creating a hands-on experience that fosters a connection between our learners and the fascinating world of plants.
