EYFS Stay and Play

The Infant School kicked off their third term with Stay and Play morning. Many parents stayed for the first hour of the day to spend time in class with the children. The children loved showing everything they had been up to in class and sharing their school morning with their loved ones.
Families are the first educators of their children and they continue to influence their children's learning and development during the school years and beyond. When parents are involved in their children's education at home, they do better in school. Additionally when parents are involved in school, children go farther in school and the schools they go to are better (Henderson & Berla, 1994).
