Fantastic displays from Primary and Secondary Athletics Teams in Nairobi

On Tuesday 20th November the Primary BISA Athletics Team travelled to Nairobi to take part in the Annual International Schools Athletics Competition that is organised by Braeburn Group. A total of 16 schools were represented in the event taking part in various track and field events. The competition was fierce with some of the old records being broken. Our very own Cornelia Bulengo took gold in the U11 girls High Jump. She also won bronze medal in the 100m finals of the same age group. Well done to Cornelia and to all our other Primary athletes!
Meanwhile, on Friday 24th November, it was the turn of the Secondary BISA Athletics Team. Again, the competition was fierce with many medals being narrowly missed by mere milliseconds after valiant efforts! Medals were brought home by Lynn Mhene (Silver - Discus), Layla Chege (Silver - 200m), Naureen Dossa (Silver - Shot Put), Joshua Sekgapane (Silver - Hurdles) and Tania Lems (Gold - 800 m). Congratulations to all our athletes!
