'Fela!' wows sold-out Nairobi audiences!

Sold out and standing ovations!
Our students have finished two performances of Fela! The Musical in Nairobi, Kenya, and have 3 to go in Arusha and Dar Es Salaam.
At the end of the evening show on Monday 30th January, our students got a standing ovation, from an audience ranging from 12-to-75+year old lovers of theatre. In attendance were renowned theatre critics, actors from Kenya and beyond, and entertainment industry gurus. They also had a surprise guest - a friend of the Kuti family, who was massively impressed by our students' confidence and prowess.
At the Nairobi schools performance on Tuesday 31st January, there were hundreds of students in attendance from Braeburn schools: Imani, Garden Estate, Braeside, Gitanga Rd and Hillcrest.
The audience of students got a chance to interact with the cast and ask questions about the creative process and performance. Congratulations to the cast and production team, and a huge thank you to Braeburn Theatres for the theatre and Norfolk Towers for the wonderful accommodation.
