Frozen World

27th November 2020

There was the most incredible learning buzz in the air through our 'Frozen World' topic this term. We set up investigation centers with ice, salt and polar animals and also had to rescue all the penguins who were accidentally frozen. The children offered great suggestions about how we could free them - "Bash the ice", "Crack it", "Use hot water" or "put them in the sun". The children were highly engaged and focused on all the fun experiments and crafts that we created around this topic.

Making  yummy ice lollies was definitely one of the highlights. We concluded the topic by talking about saving our planet Earth and the habitat of the polar animals and came up with some ideas to save our environment.
