Cross-country has long been our heritage and a critical part of our school PE curriculum. It has always demonstrated our “can do” ethos with students attempting every week to improve on their personal best times (PBs) I have noted over the years that this is usually the term when students are at their best physical fitness.
Last Friday, we held our primary annual interhouse cross country. There was excitement in the air and smiles could be seen all around before and during the event. At stake was the pride of winning interhouse shield and breaking the course record which stood at 9mins and 11 seconds.
Some fantastic individual and team results were achieved. Thank you to every competitor for your commitment, hard work in the lead up to the main cross country and for giving your best performances. Well done to Nerry Omino who currently holds the course record.
Final results were as follows:
1st place - Mawenzi
2nd place - Meru
3rd place - Kilimanjaro
4th place - Lengai
