ISMAC Swimming Gala
5th October 2017
The new swimming season kicked off last weekend with the first gala of the year at ISMAC. Our swimmers did us proud with our Primary students coming in 4th place and Secondary coming in 2nd.
"As we begin our swimming calendar of the new academic year, it was good to see that not many of our swimmers were suffering from racing rust after going 5 months without racing. We have had many new swimmers join our junior programme and was great seeing them holding their nerves and racing very well for their first time with little training. The seniors picked from where they left off with very strong swims. Even though we have lost quite a few older swimmers, it was amazing seeing our Year 6 to 8 stepping up and showing they are more then ready to carry the mantle of Braeburn swimming. I believe there's still lots more to come." - Coach Rama
