Our Key Stage Two students took the stage by storm last night with their dazzling performance of Madagascar Jr.! Nearly 60 children, aged 7 to 11, brought the beloved characters to life with energy, humour, and heart.
From the moment they danced their way onto the amphitheatre stage, the children's vibrant performances captivated the audience. Alex the Lion's confident swagger, Marty the Zebra's goofy antics, Melman the Giraffe's hypochondriac humour, and Gloria the Gluttonous Hippo's sassy charm had the audience of family and friends roaring with laughter. But it wasn't just the main characters who stole the show. The mischievous Penguins, with their synchronised moves and hilarious antics, brought a dose of chaos and comedy to the stage.
The production was further enhanced by the addition of two contemporary hits, "Empire State of Mind" and "Sunflower." These new songs injected a fresh and modern energy into the show. The live band, composed of talented music teachers from our Music Keys programme, provided the perfect accompaniment, elevating the performance to new heights.
Behind the scenes, a dedicated team of teachers and staff worked tirelessly to support the children and bring this production to life. Their hard work and dedication were evident in every aspect of the show, from the stunning costumes to the impressive set design.
We are incredibly proud of our young performers and the entire team who made this production a resounding success. Their talent, enthusiasm, and commitment to excellence shone brightly on stage, and beautifully rounded off a busy and successful term for Primary.
