Making a Splash at our Water-Themed Science Fair!

This past Friday, BISA buzzed with excitement as we arrived at the culmination of a fantastic Science Week – a celebration of all things water! Aligned with our school development projects, the week offered students a deep dive into the wonders of this essential resource.

Our youngest scientists, the Early Years crew, set their sights on the vast blue oceans. Through captivating activities, they learned about the incredible creatures that call these waters home and the importance of keeping our oceans clean.

The Primary scientists transformed their classrooms into laboratories, brimming with bubbling beakers and fascinating experiments. They explored the water cycle, witnessing the magic of evaporation and condensation. They built clever water catchment systems, understanding how we can collect this precious resource. Did you know they even built miniature water wheels and water clocks, demonstrating the power and movement of water? The colourful water experiments were a visual treat!

The grand finale arrived on Friday, and the BISA corridors transformed into a vibrant Science Fair! Parents and friends were invited to join the scientific revelry. Students, brimming with enthusiasm, proudly presented their projects, explaining their discoveries and answering questions with scientific flair. The atmosphere was electric with a shared love of learning and exploration.

From protecting our oceans to the fascinating science behind water movement, BISA's Science Week was a resounding success. The students' curiosity and creativity were on full display, leaving everyone inspired. We can't wait to see what scientific adventures await next year!
