Mama Panya's Pancakes

11th May 2023

The FS1 children made some pancakes, a fun cooking activity based on our story of the week 'Mama Panya's Pancakes'. We also used our cookery lesson to learn math and science. We used a recipe and measured all our ingredients to practice our counting skills.

They were very yummy according to the children!

Cooking with our little chefs brings a bunch of benefits that go beyond just yummy treats. First off, it's a hands-on, sensory-rich experience that engages all their senses. From mixing and measuring ingredients to smelling tantalising aromas, it's a feast for their growing minds. Cooking also boosts their fine motor skills, as they stir, pour, and sprinkle their way to culinary masterpieces. Plus, it encourages teamwork, as they collaborate and follow instructions together.

So, let's put on those aprons and let the culinary adventures begin!
