Mathematical Creativity in Year 8

30th March 2022

In Mr. Walton’s maths lessons the students have been studying nets.

Nets are flat shapes which when folded up make three dimensional solids such as cuboids, cylinders, pyramids, prisms and cones.

The students drew their own nets then used them to make some buildings which they arranged to make this beautiful city!

Look at these amazing results!
