Our First Community Health Hub

13th September 2022

BISA is committed to the school community, the local community and the global community including provision of healthcare services. On the 9th September 2022, in collaboration with Maternity Africa, BISA had the opportunity to host a community health hub offering voluntary COVID-19 vaccinations, HPV vaccinations for teenagers aged 14-19 years old, cervical cancer screening for women of all ages, and blood donation towards the much-needed resources for Maternity Africa’s patients.

The Community Health Hub was a huge success, with 9 clients screened for cervical cancer, 12 clients donating blood, 11 girls vaccinated against HPV and 22 clients vaccinated against Covid-19. Thanks to everyone who participated in this important initiative. We are looking forward to ensuring the BISA family benefits from a series of health services provided by Maternity Africa.
