Our incredible production of Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's powerful novel, "Purple Hibiscus," has taken the stage by storm! With sold-out performances in both Nairobi and Arusha, the children have delivered unforgettable experiences, leaving audiences captivated and inspired.
The demand for this thought-provoking production was overwhelming, prompting an additional show in Nairobi to accommodate the enthusiastic crowds, a testament to the dedication and talent of our young actors, who poured their hearts and souls into every scene.
Months of tireless rehearsals have culminated in these performances. Each child displayed incredible resilience, dedication, and hard work, mastering their lines, embodying their characters, and conveying the complex themes of the story with sensitivity and nuance.
But beyond the applause and standing ovations, the true reward lies in the invaluable skills and experiences gained by each participant. From teamwork and communication to empathy and self-expression, these young performers have gained experience that will impact their lives far beyond the stage.
We are immensely proud of every single student involved in this production. Their commitment and passion shone through in every performance, leaving a lasting impact on both themselves and the audiences.
Join us for the next stop of this incredible journey! Our final show takes place in Dar es Salaam on Friday, February 9th at Braeburn Dar. Don't miss your chance to witness these talented young actors in action and experience the magic of "Purple Hibiscus" firsthand!
See you there!
