Puppetry in Drama

7th November 2020

In a bid to keep our drama lessons ‘socially distanced’ for the first term, we decided to look at puppetry. This also ties in with our musical production as we have a goat puppet making an entrance this year!

First of all, we created a ‘paper man puppet’ to learn the basics of puppet movement. Once the students had mastered this, we made our own puppets using coconut shells, sticks, papier mache, and some old clothes. Much fun was had by all as well as learning a new skill.

Keep a look out for our goat puppet in our musical production of The Greatest Showman Reimagined! Coming soon and, as always, not to be missed!
