This week the Seka Theatre Company from Zambia came to Braeburn to perform and conduct workshops.
The play they performed is about animals and people and how to keep the balance to protect nature. Seka Theatre Company uses theatre to address pressing issues in their areas of operation both in Zambia and Tanzania.
In the workshop for the Year 6's they got the opportunity to explore how different animals move in preparation for primary production of The Lion King.
The other workshops focussed on Physical Theatre and the BTEC Performing Arts students got to ask questions and see how a functioning professional theatre company works.
