Serving Our Community

2nd December 2021

On Saturday the 27th of November, the International Award Students, and the community service students were beyond privileged to come together and host a Christmas party for the kids in our community. We found that this was a great way to give back to them especially because we had missed it in the previous year due to Covid.

We were able to come up with fun and engaging activities that allowed each of us to engage on a mutual level of joy and appreciation. The activities included: swimming, art, playing football and basketball, and watching a film. Seeing the kids smile and laugh was an accomplishment on its own. We had around 350 kids aged 2-18 and were able to cater to them all.

Overall, it was a great experience that was very successful. Everyone seemed to enjoy it immensely, and it was evident that the hard work we put through as a school was definitely worth it.

We look forward to hosting many more future events that will be beneficial to our community.
