Snippets from Secondary

For Year 7 and 8 Enrichment this term we have been trying to get the students off their screens and doing practical things around the house and in the garden. They have been split into 4 different groups of their choice:

‘Green Fingers’ where they have been making herb patches, vegetable gardens or flower beds. Arturo has been working hard planting onions, carrots and strawberries, to the point where he has blisters on his hands! Ethan has been working really hard tending, prepping, weeding and planting.

‘Ready Steady Cook!’ have been wowing you all with their home cooked meals – check out Priya’s delicious looking chicken dish!

‘Interior Design’ have been planning, sorting, tidying and creating new spaces in their houses.

‘Made Do and Mend’ where they have been exploring ways to upcyle items in their wardrobes. Here are some of Tanvi’s ideas – with her permission, we’ll show you the finished product once it’s done!

In Year 8 geography, they have been working on coastal land forms! Jasmine made this creation using her topic as inspiration! It looks like a delicious way to revise a topic!
