Sporting Successes at BISA

Sport at BISA has moved from strength to strength every year. With professionally trained coaches in every sporting field, the students gain great success and enjoyment from their sports sessions.
During P.E lessons students have a focus sports for the term, while in the after school sessions the students are free to sign up for different sporting areas they are particularly interested in. We have different focus sports in the three terms in a year: Term 1 is athletics, basketball and football; Term 2 is swimming, basketball and football; Term 3 moves to cross country, netball, rugby and athletics.
BISA students compete both locally and internationally. Over the past few years we have attended competitions in Kenya, Dubai, England and America. In the local leagues BISA students have dominated the NTAA championship across all sports, basketball boys teams have dominated the courts for the last 6 years, the boys teams (junior and senior teams) have not lost any championship since 2011, when the NTAA started.
Additionally, we are the current swimming champions in the region. Our swimmers have participated in different galas within East Africa and in South Africa registering overwhelmingly incredible performance. Click here for more information on our swimming successes.
In netball, our girls have also shown dominance and we are the current champions. This has been possible only because of our hard working coaches and dedicated students who continually work hard to improve their skills.
In athletics, BISA has been the true giant. We have dominated the athletics competitions for the last three years. We also participate in the Kasarani event in Nairobi where our students have won many medals and broken record.
Rugby is another area where we have dominated, our boys rugby teams are the current champions in the NTAA competitions.
Well done BISA for their good sportsmanship at events and for producing great performances in competitions.
