The International Day of the Girl

The International Day of the Girl is a global platform that advocates for the full spectrum of girls’ rights. This year’s theme is: "Invest in Girls' Rights: Our Leadership, Our Well-being", according to UNICEF.
On Saturday, our girls, Ashley, Daniela, Gracie, Nadine and Ella, chaperoned by Ms Wini, participated in workshops hosted by SCIS, where they looked at women in STEM, held mini MUN debates, discussed matters affecting girls, among others.
UNICEF and partners call for a $1 billion increase in investments for adolescent girls.
