The week of 22nd-24th March was busy for our Food and Hospitality students. The Food and Nutrition students had their practical exam and you could feel the nerves in the Food Room! The students had planned their exam and had to produce 5 skilful dishes in 2 and half hours. After lots of baking, using the hob, and using various ingredients the tables were set with the dishes. The pride on their faces was truly a sight to behold!
Our Hospitality students helped to set up and run aspects of the Music Keys Recital. They realized the hard work, planning and organising that goes on behind the scenes. They had to problem-solve, and anticipate needs and questions. They were confident in ushering the guests and treated the students performing at the music keys with the same warm smiles when serving. It was a wonderful afternoon!
