Welcome back to a new academic year at BISA!
It was wonderful to welcome back all the familiar faces and to welcome new students and parents to our Braeburn Family. With new students in every year group from Creche to Year 12, it was a busy first week of getting to know each other, getting into routine and building community.
The first week of term is always a great moment to 'turn over a new leaf'. As we gave out the new student planners, one Year 4 child was overheard saying, "New planners?! Oh, yes! I'm going to use my best writing!" Starting the year as he means to go on!
Our students in Primary have wasted no time in getting down to the important job of learning with some 5-digit number sorting, behaving like particles, and the all important class meetings where they set their expectations for the year.
Our Early Years students have been busy storytelling, building and constructing, biking and having a wonderful time in their beautiful learning environment. We are so proud of how quickly they have all settled back into the routine.
