Our Year 3 students recently had the amazing opportunity to visit NSK Hospital in Arusha. They went there to learn more about the human body and the different organs that help us move and function. The students were so excited to see the hospital and meet all the doctors and nurses.
When they arrived at the hospital, the students were greeted by a team of friendly and knowledgeable staff. The staff took the students on a tour of the hospital and showed them all the different departments. The students learned about the different types of doctors and nurses that work at the hospital and what they do. They also learned about the different machines and equipment that are used to diagnose and treat diseases.
One of the highlights of the visit was when the students got to try out an ultrasound machine. They were able to see pictures of their own organs inside their bodies! The students were amazed by how cool it was to see their own hearts, livers, and kidneys. They also learned about how ultrasound machines are used to diagnose diseases and help doctors make treatment decisions.
Another highlight of the visit was when the students got to see a CT scanner in action. They were amazed by how big the machine is and how it can take such detailed pictures of the inside of the body. The students learned about how CT scanners are used to diagnose diseases, such as cancer and heart disease.
The students had a wonderful time at NSK Hospital and learned a lot about the human body and how to stay healthy. They also got to see some of the amazing technology that is used in hospitals to help people.
Thank you to the staff at NSK Hospital for being so helpful and welcoming to the students!
