Year 4 Explores Electricity at Twende Workshop

Year 4 went to visit Twende workshop in Njiro. Twende is an organisation that aims to develop the local community through the repurposing of materials and innovation. We had an amazing day developing our knowledge around electricity.

The students soldered together components to make a circuit and used recycled materials to build a torch with led lights. A great day, full of learning to follow instructions carefully and using a soldering gun safely! If ever your torch malfunctions, give it to a Year 4 student, they will happily fix it for you! Many thanks to the staff at Twende!
