Overview

"I have worked in many schools over the last 30 years, but I can safely say that Braeburn International School Arusha is different. It is not its stunning setting and beautiful boarding village that makes it so special, nor is it the imaginative curriculum and dedicated teachers; it is the children who make the school such a fantastic place to be. Our children are confident, caring and diverse. They are open-minded, welcoming and inspirational. Working with them is deeply fulfilling.

In all of our literature, we describe ourselves as a school with a ‘family feel’. Small class sizes, 2 closely linked campuses and a fully committed community all help to create a dynamic environment for learning, where our students blossom into immensely confident individuals. Sharing ideas and supporting, reflecting on experiences, and growing through their mistakes are all actively encouraged.

The diversity of our community ensures that BISA students are well-prepared to be global citizens. Fifty different nationalities, languages and ways of seeing things ensure that our students celebrate difference. Studying in a truly international setting inspires them and broadens their horizons. At present our students are studying at universities in 18 different countries around the world, proving that our school really is a springboard to individual and global success."
