Our beautiful new Sensory Garden opens in Njiro

25th November 2021

"Teaching children about the natural world should be treated as one of the most important events in their lives." - Thomas Berry

This week saw the opening of our new sensory garden at the Infant School. This project has been special as the children have been involved in the making of the garden and will continue to take responsibility for caring for it over the coming years.

BISA is committed to raising global citizens who are good stewards of our planet and that begins with our youngest learners. As you can see, the older EYFS children are giving the creche children some excellent guidance on how to care for our plants.

The Infant School are still accepting donations of plants and trees for their garden. As you can see, it is still a work in progress. If you would like to donate a plant or tree, please drop it off at the Infant School at any time.
